Here are some pictures from Keely's visit this summer. Many more to follow - it will take me a while to catch up. It was an AMAZING summer. Keely is a great big sister and we miss her like crazy.

Gnome Family Halloween

We had 3 generations of gnomes walking around Saturday Market on Halloween. We had so many people taking pictures of us and with us, that we started asking humans if we could take pictures of them! It was a day all of us will never forget!!!!

Andrews Family Visit

I am so glad that Marlowe and I decided to go to see the Andrews families. We started in Boulder Creek (right outside of Santa Cruz) with my cousin Doug and his fiance Kristy. It was here that Marlowe saw her first redwood, jumped on a trampoline (see video below), created a game with jars of sprinkles, and fell in love with Cooper the Beagle.

Cousin Ashly and I can't get enough of one another, so she met up with us at every possible part of our trip. She took Marlowe and I to the beach in Capitola, as well as a lovely wine tasting at the Armida tasting room. We also went to Dharma's (twice it was so good) for vegan lunches including Coffee Soy Delicious shakes, raw cheesecake, and gourmet pizza.

Then up to Santa Rosa to visit with the amazing Andrews 5, starring Cousin Kathy Jo. Ok, she has 3 boys and knows how to "have BIG fun". In one day Marlowe fed a sheep and llama, rode on a 1/4 scale train, saddled up on a carousel, rode on a real pony, jumped in a bouncy thing, played in the sand, swang, slid, and finally bathed in the 100 degree pool at Calistoga Hot Springs (by far Marlowe's favorite part of the day)!!!! Oh yeah, Truman, Robin, Kathy Jo and I sang Old McDonald, which was calming to Marlowe and cracked Robin up. It was great. I also must mention David, who teamed up with Kathy Jo to fill me in on Marlowe's star chart. And last but not least... Truman's lovely saxophone concert (I think he was just practicing, but I really did enjoy this one blues song). Did I get it all????

I miss you all so much and we will be back!

Seattle Art Scene

Blake took me on a most expenses paid trip to Seattle for a night. She is now the Gallery Curator for the Archer Gallery at Clark College. Our mission was to meet up with two artists who will be included in the Archer Gallery's January show themed "Perspective". The artist's work were both amazing and they were very down to earth. They gave us a tour of some very cool art galleries as well as showing us some of their work that was at the Seattle Art Museum.
