Seattle Art Scene

Blake took me on a most expenses paid trip to Seattle for a night. She is now the Gallery Curator for the Archer Gallery at Clark College. Our mission was to meet up with two artists who will be included in the Archer Gallery's January show themed "Perspective". The artist's work were both amazing and they were very down to earth. They gave us a tour of some very cool art galleries as well as showing us some of their work that was at the Seattle Art Museum.

LA Wedding

Frost, Marlowe and I flew down to LA for Dana and Cory's wedding reception. It was sunny and gorgeous of course. The first night we all met up at the Viceroy and hung out in a cabana poolside. It felt very LA! The next day Dana and Cory had their official reception which was also at the Viceroy so swanky! Congratulations you two. We really had a great time.

Arch Cape Beach Wedding

We went to the Oregon Coast for Frost's cousin, Kathleen and Trey's wedding reception. The family had rented a beautiful beach house with everything you can imagine - fire pit, play room, ping pong, beautiful view.... a dream beach house for sure. There were a lot of girl cousins there so Marlowe was more than taken care of. I think she was providing most of the entertainment. She also said one of her first words "hula" after the girls did a hula routine they had been practicing for a couple of days.

Kathleen and Trey ended up giving us their wedding suite and decided to stay at the house. So we ended up having a beautiful beach front condo to stay in. My favorite part of the night was when all of the kids made jewelry out of glow sticks and went out in the pitch black and started dancing. All you could see were these moving colors - it was a very cool sight.
